The Southdown Way Caravan and Camping Park is beautifully positioned at the foot of the South Downs in West Sussex just north of Brighton and on the edge of the villages of Keymer, Hassocks and Historical Ditchling.
The site is flat and open, with stunning panoramic views of the South Downs and the famous Jack and Jill Windmills. The camping and caravan fields are unspoiled and surrounded by open countryside.
A major priority is to ensure the campsite and its facilities are accessible to guests who are disabled, blind, or partially sighted. We ensure that all, with or without disability, are made most welcome.
Southdown Way is ideal for exploring the Sussex Countryside, by walking, cycling, on horseback or further afield by train, bus, or car. The train station at Hassocks is situated within easy reach of the campsite and offers regular services to Brighton, the South Coast and London.
Other facilities, such as indoor & outdoor swimming pools, fishing, golf and horse riding are all within ten miles of the site.
An Education and Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme camping area is available - please contact us for details.
All profits from the caravan and camping park are allocated to the The Sussex Lantern charity organisation for the development of the planned centre for the life enhancement of blind, partially sighted and disabled people of all ages, to provide facilities for participation in sport, recreation, play, education and training, thereby promoting a healthy and active life.
